Waukesha 12V 275GL+ engines are carbureted lean-burn engines, ensuring low fuel consumption and minimal emissions. The engine’s preset standard settings offer the optimal balance between fuel consumption and emissions. However, during operation, the engine can be adjusted to either reduce fuel consumption or minimize NOx levels, depending on the site’s specific requirements. In 275GL+ series gas reciprocating engines, the fuel mixture is introduced into the combustion chamber via the pre-ignition chamber. Enlarged crankcase covers provide easy, convenient access to major engine internals, including the camshaft, connecting rod and bearings.
