Jenbacher JMS 420 D/E
The power output of the new Jenbacher JMS 420 D/E has been enhanced by 60 kW, while the electrical efficiency has been improved by up to 1 percentage point. In addition, the new unit has become 60 cm shorter. The more compact dimensions facilitate the integration of the J420 model and its packaging into block modules. However, the primary advantage, considering future prospects, lies in its fuel flexibility: the new Jenbacher Type 4 is available with the “Ready for H2” option. This feature allows them to be configured for operation on 100% hydrogen. The new 420 D/E model also offers improved access to engine components, enhancing overall maintenance ease.
