ЭТС-J1870 containerized gas reciprocating power plant designed with a high degree of factory readiness for generating electrical and thermal energy from gaseous fuel. Main gas or associated petroleum gas of stable quality can be used as fuel. The plant features high efficiency and operates with low levels of vibration, noise, and emissions. This allows ЭТС-J1870 model to be used even in urban areas.
ЭТС-J1870 containerized gas reciprocating power plant is built based on Jenbacher JMS 420 gas unit, renowned for its exceptional efficiency, reaching up to 44% in electrical efficiency. When operating in cogeneration mode, the overall efficiency of ЭТС-J1870 gas reciprocating power plant can reach an impressive 88%.
The operation support systems of the gas reciprocating power plant, including cooling, ventilation, and fire extinguishing systems, are engineered with a performance reserve. The failure of one of the components does not lead to a shutdown of the power plant; a temporary limitation of the output power is possible. Every component of the gas reciprocating power plant undergoes thorough analysis based on technical and economic criteria.
ЭТС-J1870 model ensures reliable operation even under challenging climatic conditions. The air supply and conditioning system deserves special attention as it’s designed to meet stringent reliability standards, comparable to those used in the nuclear industry. This ensures that the gas reciprocating power plant can operate effectively even at air temperatures as low as -600С, preventing any risk of damage to the engine turbocharger.
The elevated pressure within the container effectively prevents dust from infiltrating, thereby extending the lifespan of air filters and the oil, resulting in reduced maintenance costs for the gas reciprocating power plant.

All activities from the equipment’s release from the factory until the gas reciprocating power plant is commissioned, as well as subsequent maintenance and repair tasks, are conducted by certified ETS-Astana service engineers without the involvement of foreign specialists:

- Cooling system (leveling sudden changes in coolant temperature in case of sharply changing loads);

- Special design power transformers with output voltage of 0.4/6.3/10.5 kV capable of operating in harsh climatic conditions;
- The container’s special design includes swing gates with covers, facilitating repairs of the main unit even in winter conditions without the need to remove the gas reciprocating power plant.
- An air supply and preparation unit that heats and filters it;
